Then, thoroughly mix the soil in the pail. Fill a soil sample box with.the soil to be sent to the soil testing laboratory. “Be sure to label each box from each field accurately,* he emphasizes. “Completely fill out a soil record sheet to send in with each sample. The information requested on the soil record sheet will be extremely helpful to your extension agricultural agent when he makes fertilizer recommendations."
