with federal agencies. “An announcement already has been made of written tests for employment next summer, and it would be well for students to obtain this announce ment from a post office or Civil Service Commission office promptly and make application,* Marsh said; “in that, there are three tests to be given in one thousand cities across the country on November 26, January 7 and February 4.* “Obviously, it would be desirable to take the earliest test practicable, in order to get on the qualification list," Marsh added, 'and the first filing deadline is October 21.” Marsh said that interested students should obtain Civil Service Commission Announcement No. 401 from any post office distributing such announcements. He said that there would be a later announcement in regard to a limited number of summer employment opportunities in post offices, but the basic examination would cover summer work in virtually all other federal agencies.
