Upon graduation he will be commissioned an Ensign In the U. S. Naval Reserve or a Second Lieutenant In the U. S. Marine Corps, according to his choice.

Turkey Dinner

A Turkey Dinner will be sold at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Butler In Sperry vllle on Saturday, October 29 beginning at 5 o'clock, for the benefit of the First Baptist Church Building Fund. The menu includes roast turkey, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, greens, candied sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese home baked rolls, cake or pie, coffee or punch. Donation - $1.00. There will be a Hallowe’en Social and Cake Walk at the Washington Graded School, Friday evening, October 28. Public invited. Refreshments. Prize for the most comical costume.
