David J. Racer was a dinner guest last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. William Bolen in Luray. Other guests were Mrs Maywood Cornell, Mrs. Junior Burner, and Lyle Racer all of Luray. Mrs. Mary Louise Harvey of San Jose, Calif, has arrived to spend several months with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miko in Washington, D. C. and at their country home, Glen Eyrie, near here. Mitchell S. Harvey, also of San Jose, spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Miko and their weekend guests at Glen Eyrie were Mr. and Mrs. Joel W. Richardson of Washington, D. C. The Misses Josephine and Anna May Stambaugh have returned to their home Skyverge after spending the summer at Green Lake, Wisconsin. Mrs. W. H. Fleming of Newport News was the week-end louseguest of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles F. Glaenzer at The Rectory. Miss Carolyn Johnson, a student at R. P. I. in Richmond and Miss Kay Johnson, student at Radford College, spent the week-end at the home of their parents Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Johnston. Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller had as luncheon guests Sunday at the Hampton Inn, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Speake of College Park, Md., Mrs. Harold Brown and Mrs. Preston Avery, both of Winchester. Dr. and Mrs. William p. Parrish and three children Betsey, Bill and Jonathan of Lynchburg visited friends here on Saturday. Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett and Miss Annie Cooksey had as luncheon guests Saturday at Hampton Inn Mrs. G. W. Eastham, Miss Lizzie Eastham, Miss Mary Brooke Massie and Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis of Madison College spent the week-end with her parents Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. Mrs. James C.
