Mrs. A. C. Latham, treasurer of the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary, presents fire department chief, Braxton James, with a check for $1,500 during the annual banquet ceremonies Friday evening. The Auxiliary entertains the Jocal and visiting fire and rescue squadsmen, and other guests with a banquet each year. On behalf of the Amissville Ruritan Club, Robert B. Settle, gave Mr. James a check for $100.
