A Seminar for Extension Specialists in Health Education i and Related Fields will be held on1 Thursday, March 20, 1969; in the Marriott.

Most of the members of the | Council are small-town MDs. - They are deeply concerned with, the theme of the Conference: Meeting Rural Health Needs In< Our Changing Times.

TTie Conference will cover such subjects as manpower shortages (nurses, dentists, physicians), preparing communities for emergency medical services, and the future training and role of the family physician.

Topic of a Saturday symposium will be: Changing Methods in Delivery of Rural Health Care. Ben N. Saltzman, M. D., Mountain Home, Ark., immediate past chairman of the AMA Council on Rural Health, will serve as moderator.

Four MDs will be hitting hard at critical problems when they talk on: A Unique Plan for Rural Medicine; Cross-road Medical Center; A Model for the Practice of Community Medicine, and Rural Health Demonstration Project.
