A minor crash involving only one vehicle which had a blow-out, was reported by Trooper J. H. Willis. This occurred Saturday morning on Route 522 near Massies Comer. A 1957 Chrysler operated by Francis Hogan of Washington struck a bank when 4 tire blew. There were no injuries.
Ancil Daniel Blevins, jr. of Amissville and Warrenton was hospitalized over night after becoming involved in a single-vehicle crash on Route 522 north of Flint Hill early Saturday morning. He was operating a t>6 Mustang when he rounded a curve at a high jrate of speed, lost control of the car, knocked down a utility pole and rolled over a rock wall. He sustained lacerations of the head and left hand and possibly fractured ribs* and was an over night patient in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Tbe car was a total loss and Blevins was charged with reckless driving.
James Franklin Strmgfellow of Amissville, a passenger in the car. received a laceration of the [forehead.
