Noah B. Putnam
Funeral services for Noah Booten Putnam, 76, of Limeton were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, conducted by Elder Hollie Redmon. Interment was in Orlean Cemetery, Orlean, Va.
Mr. Putnam died February 16, 1969 in the Warren Memorial Hospital.
He was bom in Fauquier County, a son of the late Benjamin and Alice Fishback Putnam. His wife, Sally Wince Putnam, predeceased him. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Bedford Putnam of Castleton and Calvin Putnam of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Cook of Viewtown, Mrs. Macie Burner of Arlington and Mrs. Thelma Poe of Front Royal; two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Payne of Amissville and Mrs. Ina Cameron of Baltimore, Md.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lyle Laing, Milton Corbin, Cecil Claig, Ira Cooke, Clarence Patterson and Waldo Rudacille.
