Assuming the over all responsibility of the planning and preparation of the annual Amissville Firemen’s Banquet is Mrs. ChCharlie Compton, right. She is closely assisted by Mrs. Russell Hackley and Mrs. A. C. Latham, president and treasurer, respectively. However, to complete and execute the entire dinner, cooking, service, etc., a great many people like Mrs. S. H, Martin, pictured with Mrs. Compton, play an important part. It takes a variety of people, those who help with cash contributions to those who do the actual cooking, serving, cleaning, running, table setting, to execute a successful dinner.
