In Conservation Jobs
"Hie Virginia Division of the Izaak Walton League will again cooperate with the U. S. Department of the Interior in placing interested High School Seniors in summer conservation jobs, reports the groupi’s First Vice-President Vivian M. Barnette. This will mark the 7th year that the Izaak Walton League has participated in the program on a national basis. The youths may get an opportunity to work on National Parks, Wildlife Refuges and other public areas administered by the Department of the Interior. The program is specifically aimed at young people who think they might like to follow a conservation career.
To qualify, a young man must expect to graduate from high school this spring, be 18 years of age by June 15, 1969, and should have definite plans to enter a college or university for advance
