Amissville Fire Department responded to a house fire Monday at the home of Raymond Williams on Route 623. On Tuesday this company answered an alarm to Jeffersonton where a shed with farm and electrical equipment burned and later in" the day the unit returned to that fire as a precautionary measure. Tuesday night Amissville Rescue Squad was called to take J. P. Morgan to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. Wednesday morning this unit responded to a call to the home of Mrs. Henry Hitt but service was not used. On Sunday Glen Freeman was taken by the Rappahannock Rescue Squad to Warren Memorial Hospital. Liza Freeman was taken Monday to the University of Virginia Hospital.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad moved Mrs. Beulah Armentrout from the Warren Memorial Hospital to Shawnee Nursing Home, Winchester on Tuesday.
