Bus Trip to D.C.
Please contact Mrs. Rachel Aylor or Deacon C. C. Lewis for tickets by April 30 to go on the bus trip with the Hopewell Baptist Church to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Washington, D. C. on Sunday, May 2.
The bus will leave the Esso Station in Sperryville at 12:45 p.m. and return there at 7 p.m. Price of ticket $4.25 rouhd trip.
Candlelight Service
A Candlelight Memorial Service in memory of Mother Mary Fitzhugh will be held at Hopewell Baptist Church, Sunday, May 9 at 6 a.m. Breakfast will be served after the service. Everyone is cordially invited. Sponsored by Mrs. U. S. Brokenburr and Miss Ruth Williams.
Lawn Social
