Mrs. Julia James accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Braxton James and daughter Carolyn to Richmond Sunday where they were the guests of Mrs. Lutie Estes. Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Semones and Mrs. Ruth Corbitt spent last Friday until Monday in Charlotte, N. C. where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mays and family. Enroute home the visited Mr. and Mrs. Rector Hunt in Mebane, N.C. Miss Linda Rowzie of Richmond was an overnight guest Saturday of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph H. Rowzie. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hummel, also of Richmond and Dr. Carroll Quaintance of Sperryville were visitors Saturday of the Rowzies. Mrs. D. D. Miller jr. and children of Fairfax were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green. Mrs. Myrtle Pulchine of Warrenton was a luncheon guest last Monday of Mrs. Ethel Hall. Mrs. Sally Mann of Oxon Hill, Md. was a weekend guest of Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter Susan and they were all supper guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son Billy at Locust Shade. Other guests included Miss Mauri Raney of Flint Hill and Eddie Huff of Washington.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Lewis and son Darrell of Baltimore, Mrs. tEffie Hiss amg Mrs, NanLawis of Pasedena, Md. were guests Saturday of Mrs. Julia Walter and Mrs. J. L. Walter. Mrs. Harold Curtis of Purcellville was their guest Thursday.
