The 44th annual parade will consist of 230 units; 50 floats, numerous drill teams and marching units, and around 115 bands. National, state, and local government officials and representatives will also participate in the parade. The Winchester Lions Club has directed the parade for the past 30 years. The department of the Grand Feature Parade extends a cordial invitation to everyone to come and see one of the finest parades on the East Coast on Saturday, May 8, 1971 at 12:30 EDT.
