The Farm Bureau Marketing Association’s Livestock Division is fast approaching its membership goal, according to Virginia FB officials in Richmond.

A new concept in cattle marketing had been developed by Farm Bureau, and more than 200 key livestock producers have become members and invested in the program.

“The response to our membership program in cattle marketing has been better than expected,” said VFBF president Robert B. Delano.

Cattle producers in selected counties have been contacted during April, and livestock farmers in seven additional counties will be approached during May, a Farm Bureau spokesman stated.
