Mrs. Ada Huff

A funeral service for Mrs. Ada James Huff, of Washington, Va., widow of Henry Marshall Huff was held Wednesday, at ll a.m. at the Washington Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. John S. Farrar of Culpeper. Interment was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Huff died April 24, 1971 at the University of Virginia Hospital. She was 88. She was the daughter of the late James A. Racer, and the late Melvilla Estes Racer, both of Rappahannock County. She is survived by a foster daughter, Mrs. Esther Leonard of Arlington, several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Huff was a lifelong member of the Oakley Baptist Church, situated near the Huff family residence.

Active pallbearers were Frank Huff, William Huff, Charles H. Huff, James W. Huff, David Watkins, R. V. Snead, James Swindler, Reginald Johnson and L. H. Jenkins.
