clean up day
One of the first projects undertaken by the recently organized Washington 4-H Club is a Cleanup Day for the Town of Washington. Tliis is set for Saturday, May 10 from 9 a.m. until noon, and all who are helping with this activity are asked to meet at the Extension Office by nine.
Trash bags will be provided and refreshments will be served after the clean-up by the Town Council. Adults assisting with the project include Mayor Peter Kramer and Mrs. Kramer, the Rev. Jennings Hobson, Council member June Jordan, Bob Haase, June Savee and technician Karen Kuhn.D
