Newman, temporary coordinator for the coalition, has written Rob Blackmore, COR Director, to offer assistance in the scenic river study and to provide the COR with views of local citizens.
The coalition, which already has attracted interest from the Stafford Jaycees, Float Fishermen of Virginia, Rappahannock Defense Committee, and the Fredericksburg chapters of the League of Women Voters and the Izaak Walton League, asks all interested groups and citizens to play a role in determining the future of the Rappahannock and Rapidan rivers.
