“The Sneads found some traces of paper up on the mountain after one of the earlier trips,” Hawkins said. “The bacon was evidently too salty for him. They found a slab he bit off of and dropped. He didn’t touch the rest of the bacon in the freezer when he came back,” Ronnie Hawkins said.
“HE JUST wiped ’em out of berries. They had picked the berries and wrapped them in clear paper—something like Handi-wrap —to freeze. The bags had little pictures on them, so 1 guess he could identify them.
