Visitors to Shenandoah National Park during April ! totaled 312,700 for an increase of 20.5 per cent over April a year ago, when 259,500 people entered the Park. The 1977 calendar year also shows a visitation increase of 11.8 per cent when 610,900 visited in comparison to 546,200 the previous year.
