Rappahannock dropped below the state average in percentage of tiinth graders who receive diplomas three years later. Only 66.1 per cent of the ninth grade class enrolled in the fall of 1972 were members of the 1975-76 graduating class. Statewide, 74.3 per cent of ninth graders enrolled in 1972 graduated in 1976.
