Supervisor Dick Latham asked for the figures on expected enrollment in kindergarten.
Norton replied that the budget was based on a 60child enrollment with 59 children signed up to date. “We anticipate between 65 and 70 before school opens,” he said. With no compulsory attendance laws governing kindergarten, parents have the option of withdrawing children at any time, said Norton.
