Mrs. Virginia Lewis was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis in Front Royal. They were joined Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Bob Lewis of Huntly.
Mrs. Brown Miller accompanied by her sister, Mrs. B. L. Bashaw of Woodstock, visited their sister, Mrs. Paul Miller in King’s Daughters Hospital in Staunton Saturday and they were weekend guests of their brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. F. O. Heizer in Greenville.
Guests for Mother’s Day of Mrs. Catherine Brown were Strother Brown and John, of Jackson Heights, N. Y., Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser, Mrs. James Burnopp, Joey and Jay of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Cooper and Chris of Woodbridge, Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown and Paul and Clyde Atkins.
Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins spent Mother’s Day with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Codding and family in Fairfax. Mrs. Hawkins remained for a few days visit.
Mrs. Ruth Perkins with her daughter, Mrs. Dawson Nail of Falls Church, was in Farmville Thursday and Friday. Cindy Cumins of Longwood College returned with them after completing her freshmen year. Mother’s Day guests were Mr. and Mrs.- Nail and daughters, Penny and Gaye.
Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance were dinner guests last Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. George Bain near Washington. Sunday they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr., Henry B. and Mrs. Henry Wood of Woodville at the Reenactment of the Battle of New Market.
