There will be a Soul Dinner on May 14 at 4 o’clock in the First Baptist Church dining room. The dinner will benefit the King and Queen Rally and will include chitterlings, pig feet, chicken, potato salad, green beans, rolls, cake or pie. Dinners are $2.50, or $3.00 for delivery.
There will be a social in the home of Rose Turner May 14 beginning at 5 P.M. The proceeds will benefit the King and Queen Rally of the First Baptist Church in Washington.
The public is urged to attend.
