Brooks suggested that Rappahannock join with other nearby counties in recruitment efforts. "It’s an inexpensive way to do it,” sending out one spokesman to represent several school jurisdictions, he said. Brooks added that this method was used by Winchester, Orange and Fredericksburg school systems.
If Rappahannock can find other counties willing to do this, Montague said he thought the School Board would consider recruitment sharing as a possible solution.
