Volunteers are needed to work in the booths and stands and baked goods are needed for the food stand. Anyone who is willing to assist may contact Jennings Hobson or Ruth Gark at Washington. The residents of Hampton District are requested to contribute a pie, cake or other similar confection for the food stand. If you are not contacted you may call any member of the Washington Ladies Auxiliary or Mrs. Gark.
The carnival is a clean, wholesome activity with a twofold purpose; that of raising funds for the operation of the fire and rescue groups and for community association, fun and excitement for all who attend. Please do.
