He is the author of Redistribution and the Welfare System (1975), and he and his wife, Dr. Jacquelene M. Browning, who is a teacher of Economics at Sweet Briar College, are co-authors of an Economics textbook, Public Finance and the Price System, to be published in 1979 by Macmillan Publishing Company. Dr. Browning is the author of numerous articles on government expenditures and taxation.
The Drs. Browning will be visiting professors at the University of California, Los Angeles, in the spring term of 1978.
