Mrs. Kilpatrick suggested that full-day classes be scheduled for kindergarteners who live in outof-the-way areas with halfday classes for children who live in the villages and on major roads or highways. Parents then could be given the option of choosing which schedule they preferred as long as class sizes could accommodate preferences, she said.

Mrs. Kilpatrick added that parents from out-of-the-way locations who wanted their kindergarteners to attend half-day sessions could be required to transport their children to a centrally located bus pick-up point.

Chairman Montague asked Mrs. Kilpatrick to get in touch with elementary school Principal Buddy Carter and Superintendent Norton to arrive at a concrete proposal on kindergarten scheduling for Board action at the July meeting.
