Commonwealth’s Attorney George H. Davis Jr. in a memorandum dated June 17 to the board of supervisors again voiced the opinion that Sheriff William A. Buntin and his deputies have submitted mileage vouchers which Davis deems “improper.”
Included in the memorandum are excerpts from an investigation of the sheriffs vouchers completed lune 13 by Sgt. R. A. Fleshman and Investigator T. J. Dever of the Virginia State Police.
