Race Clinic
Old Kennels in Flint Hill will hold a special clinic for point-to-point riders on July IS, 16 and 17. The clinic will consist of six mounted sessions from 8 a.m. till 10 a.m. and S p.m. till 7 p.m. each day in addition to daily lectures between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Coach for the clinic will be Major Mike Antoniewicz, winner of 47 races, Olympic medalist in eventing and open jumping, Chief Instructor for the Polish Cavalry School, winner at Madison Square Garden, Toronto, Rome, Nice and Amsterdam.
Robert E. Palmer, official starter for the NS&HA, will be a special instructor and lecturer on the art and craft of starting. Randolph Rouse will lecture on riding timber races and Witold Kuncewicz will speak on non-riding facts for point-to-point riders, trainers and owners.
Kuncewicz reports that the course at Old Kennels is in excellent condition, despite the dry weather, and yvill be rebrushed especially for the event. A full bathroom, coffee and tea will be available in the stable and stalls and hay bedding are free and available to the first 11 participants who request them.
