A tragic traffic collision in Amissville Thursday night took the life of one person and injured two others. The victims were pinned in their car for an hour and a quarter before they could be removed.
Vivian Bernice Allen, 24, of Amissville died of massive head injuries following the crash, which occurred in front of Hackley’s Store.
According to Trooper R. A. Baines, Mrs. Allen was a passenger in a 1971 Oldsmobile driven by her husband, Robert Allen. The vehicle was traveling east on Rt. 211 when Allen lost control of the car and ran under the rear of a 1976
