Luke indicated that he knew nothing about the intervention in the DeMent case. He had attended Thursday’s BZA meeting to discuss another intervention—this time by the Supervisors in the ski area suit against the BZA. However, Luke wanted to talk in executive session.

BZA member George Muth reminded the group that the law is very specific about closed sessions and said if the Commonwealth’s Attorney would show them where they could legally go into executive session they would do so.
