Frances Carney, Republican Co-Chairman of Rappahannock County, has invited Robinson to address the meeting on Friday night about such subjects as the year’s up-coming Senatorial and Congressional races in • Virginia, and the increasingly important role of the Republican candidate in Virginia politics. The Mass Meeting is designed to elect officers of the party and to select delegates to the State and District Republican Conventions.

The meeting is open to all candidates for Federal office, and several representatives from Senatorial Campaigns are expected to attend.

FireRescue

Amissville Rescue Squad, assisted by Warrenton, took the victims of the auto crash in Amissville last Thursday to Fauquier Hosptial. They were four members of the Allen family of Amissivlle. March 16, Mrs. John Stock was taken from her home on Route 642 to Fauquier Hospital. March 17, Mrs. Eva Hitt was taken from her home to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and in the afternoon she was transferred to Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

The following day Walter Fitzhugh was taken from his home on Route 211 to Fauquier Hospital.

March 19, Debbie Hill and Nancy West were taken from a traffic collision on Route 211 and Route 613 to Fauquier Hospital by the Amissville Squad.

Amissville Fire Department responded March 19 to a brush fire at the property of Nelson Rosenberger on Route 621 and on the 21st thi: company assisted Culpepe with a woods Fire at Jef fersonton.

On Friday, March 17, th< Sperryville Rescue Squad answered a sick call, but their services were not used.

On March 18, th< Sperryville squad made thre* runs. They carried Savellf Fincham from her home ii Sperryville to Warrer Memorial Hospital; Jake Fincham was taken from his home to the Rappahannock Clinic; and Col. Joseph Whitfield was taken from his home in Sperryville tc Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

On March 4, the Washington Rescue Squad took Russell Jordan from the Fodderstack Road to Warren Memorial Hospital. Or March 14. Mrs. Alice Vemer of Washington was transported to the University ol Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville and on March 19, Howard Sidney of Burke * was taken from an auto accident on Rt. 211 east of Washington to Fauquier Hospital.

The Washington Fire Dept, was called to a fire on the Dabney Eastham property near Flint Hill on March 17. On March 19, this unit answered a call to put out a chimney fire at the home of Johnny Ray Pullen in Washington and on March 20, they were called to a house fire in the home of Stephen Pollor in Gid Brown Hollow.
