Atkins

Services for Mrs. Maybelle Deavers Atkins of Spenyville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Gore Funeral Home with Pastor Nicholas Klim officiating.

Mrs. Atkins died March 20, 1978 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

She owned and operated Atkins Arco Station at Sperryville.

She was born in Page County and had lived in Sperryville for many years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Newton and Emma Florence Bailey Deavers and the widow of J. Bradley Atkins. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Culpeper.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edith Baker of Washington, Va. and Mrs. Minnie Racer of Sperryville, and several nieces and nephews.
