I would like to congratulate our Board of Supervisors on their stand on behalf of the people of Rappahannock County.
Finally, justice has prevailed. It doesn’t take much to see that the BZA’s decision was contrary to the wishes of the great majority of Rappahannock citizens. Petitions containing over 530 signatures, almost 10 per cent of the county's population, were submitted for the ski area at the January 13 hearing. Also, a majority of those attending the hearing (a total attendance of over 120) indicated that they were in favor of the ski area proposal. The opposition
