I think it’s time to stop being frightened of what might happen. We have to start looking at growth realistically, and in my mind that means growing along recreational, rather than high density residential, lines. Why run the risk of losing everything by being too zealous in opposing the type of progress that costs the least and helps the most in terms of our tax dollars and way of life?
When we consider all of these factors, there can be no question but that the Supervisors, if they accept Mr. Baumgardner’s consent order, are proceeding in the best interests of the County.
