To the editor:
It is unfortunate that the ski area controversy has degenerated into a clash of personalities rather than a calm consideration of facts.
I feel that the BZA has made a decision that they feel is right for Rappahannock. I cannot criticize them for doing what they think is best.
They and everyone else should remember, though, that nobody can be correct all of the time. The legal aspects of the ski area matter have to be considered, and it doesn’t take a lawyer to know that you can’t take a man’s property without paying for it.
