The Rappahannock Supervisors met in executive session on Wednesdays, March 15, and voted to have Commonwealth's Attorney George Davis intervene in the ski corporation’s suite against the county Board of Zoning Appeals.
The next morning, at their regular meeting, the BZA members sent for six copies of the Rappahannock News to learn the details of the consent order apparently supported by the Supervisors.
In the preliminary document drawn up by ski area attomies, the Rappahannock Ski Corporation agreed to drop its action against the BZA in exchange for favorable consideration by the Supervisors of building permits and occupancy permits for ALL the uses in the permit application submitted by the ski area.
