Butler

Mrs. Evangeline M. Butler, 59, of Washington, Va. died March 13, 1978 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. She was the daughter of the late Jasper and Gertrude Williams Davis. She was born in Rockingham County March 18, 1919.

She is survived by a son David Williams of Washington; eight sisters, Ruth Davis, Meldora Williams, Corena Moore, Irene Carter, Maggie Allen, Jurlene Jackson, Dorthea Sanders of Elkton and Annie Mae Keithan of Island Ford; three brothers, Matthew, Russell and Robert Davis, all of Elkton and five grand children.

A funeral service was held at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church at Elton with interment in the qhiirch cemetery. The Rev. Milton Jones conducted the service assisted by the Rev. K. K. Watkins and the Rev. B. Cubbage.

Nephews served as pallbearers.

Special

Service

There will be a special service at Gid Brown Baptist Church on Saturday evening, March 25, at 7 o'clock. Jerry Whiteheart will be the guest speaker and special singing will be provided by the Victory Trio of Richmond. Everyone is welcome to attend.
