Kevin Ian Young, son of Dr. and Mrs. William H. Young Jr. of Castleton, will receive his degree as doctor of medicine from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
A graduate of Hammond High School in Alexandria, he attended Georgetown University before entering Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. A psychology major. Young graduated suma cum laude in 1974 and entered medical school that fall. He plans to specialize in family practice and has been accepted in a residency program in Michigan. Upon completing that training. Young will do a three-year tour with the United States Public Health Service before returning to the Rappahannock area where he plans to reside and practice medicine.
