Trenton Burke of Culpeper was a Tuesday afternoon luncheon guest of his mother, Mrs. Guy Burke.
Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett joined Mrs. Mary Quaintance of Sperryville and her guests, Mrs. W. W. Sanford and Lyle Sanford of Orange, for lunch last Wednesday at the Teepee in Sperryville. On Wednesday evening, Mr. and Mrs. James VanLowen DeBergh Jr., and Van called on Mrs. Moffett. Sunday, she was visited by Miss Florence Fray of Madison, Mrs. Henry Miller of Luray and Miss Mary Miller Wood.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fritts of Front Royal called on Mr. and Mrs. Reid Payne and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Estes last Thursday. Miss Gloria Fritts of Front Royal visited the Paynes and Mr. and Mrs. Estes on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and family of Suffolk were weekend guests of Mrs. Jenkins' mother, Mrs. Alice Verner, and sister, Mrs. Mary Updike. While here, they also visited Mr. Jenkins' mother and father, Mr. add Mrs. George Jenkins in Sperryville.
A birthday dinner was given Sunday for the Rev. Edward Jenkins at his home. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. William Corbin, Billy, Steve, Wesley and Allan of Reva, Mr. and Mrs. John Jenkins, Miss Vicki Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Jenkins and Mark of Hint Hill, Sindy Wharton of Rixeyville, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whorton, Miss Judy Whorton and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Compton and Jeffrey, all of Castleton, Beverly Lynn (Foots) Williams of Chester Gap, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins and Junior and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Woodard.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eastham, Edie and Richie spent the weekend at the Clark's cabin at Shenandoah River Bend.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Gark visited Roy Gark in Linden on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley returned home Tuesday afternoon after spending several days camping and sightseeing in the Lancaster, Pa. area.
