May 8 marked the opening day of a new used car dealership on Route 29, south of Culpeper. The building, whose initial construction began last fall, is owned by Vernon Scott, son of C.D. Scott, both natives of Castleton.
Scott is not a new hand in car dealership work. Previosuly employed at Piedmont Chevrolet Olds mobile and Embrey-Atkins Ford, he is a well known salesman who has been in the area for six years. Theopening of his dealership is the culmination of seven months’ of planning and labor.
