“It’s physically undevelopable...from a practical standpoint (and) has value only to adjacent property owners,” Adamson said.
“Fom a good Samaritan standpoint, the Park should have the (Greene County) property,” he continued. The land overlooks Skyline Drive and is only 1000 yards from one of the largest falls in the park. The Greene County land is also steep but has some development potential because of its prime scenic location, Adamson maintained.
He described the trade as a fair exchange—“lousy land for lousy land.”
