Well, our girls’ trackless track team has done it again! After a season dotted with wins, including district and regional championships, they went to the State Meet for Group A schools on Saturday and came out a close second. Cumberland was first with 46 points; Rappahannock County High, second with 44 points. Although they do not have a home track to run on, these young people have made tracks all over the state this year and they will not be erased.
Last summer the people in this county got behind Henry Hudson and his group to raise money for clearing and grading a track for Rappahannock County High Working with the young folks, the people in this county came through hand somely, raising over $6,000 in cash. Contributors
