May is Mental Health Month. In recognition, the Rappahannock Mental Health Association will hold its annual dinner meeting on Wednesday, May 31, at 6:30 at Hampton Inn near Washington. The Association is also conducting a fund drive.
Tax deductible contributions support the Association’s educational program in the community. Checks may be made payable to the Rappahannock Mental Health Association and mailed to Mrs. Frances Thornton, P. O. Box 98, Sperryville, Virginia 22740. Association President Ron Wiley reports that plans are now being made to open a permanent mental health clinic in Washington that will operate daily.
