The Rappahannock Panthers traveled to Elkton Friday night and challenged the Elkton Elks, but defeat befell our teams.
The J.V. Panthers final score was Elkton 35, Rappahannock 26. Jimmy Tomko was high scorer with 10 points, and he had 10 rebounds.
The Varsity team lost with the score of Elkton 78, Rappahannock 59. The high scorer was Rodney Cook with 15 points, Greg Bright had 13, and Gary Leake 10. Both teams tried really hard. We wish them lots of luck while playing on their home court Tuesday and Thursday.
