Several violators of Shenandoah National Park regulations appeared before U.S. Magistrate Glen Conrad on December 5. Of the eleven individuals lacing charges ranging from speeding to hunting, nine were convicted of at least one offense each, two were either acquitted of all charges or charges were dropped.
The following individuals were convicted.
Stephen E. Lourie, Bethesda, Maryland, charged and convicted of speeding and improper passing. Fined $150.
William G. Ridenour, Richmond, Virginia, charged and convicted of speeding. Fined $150.
Michael Wilson. Washington, D.C., charged with reckless driving, driving under influence and littering. Assigned Virginia ASAP program, fined $200. John J. ford, Baltimore. Maryland, charged and convicted of a firearm violation and destruction public property. Fined $500. Curtis Meador. Lutherville. Maryland, charged and convicted of ftie.nm violation. Fined $200.
