Paul Louis (Bill) Miller, 62, of Flint Hill, died Saturday, Dec. 16, at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
Funeral services were held Dec. 19, 1978 from the Flint Hill United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Vickie Pittard. Burial was in the Flint Hill Methodist Church.
Mr. Miller was born Sept. 25, 1916 in Bridgewater, son of the late Paul Latham Miller and Bessie Argabright Miller. He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company and a member of the Washington Lodge No. 78 AF & AM, the Steamfitters Local No. 602, the Giles B. Cook Post No. 53, American Legion, the Boy Scouts of America and the American Cancer Society. He was a veteran of World War II with the U. S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife. Mary R. Miller; one son. Paul Louis Miller Jr. of Odenton. Md.; one daughter. Mrs. Paula M. Howell of Madison Heights; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Emory Russell. Walter J. Curtis, Brue J. Wood, Henry Vawter. William G. Eastham and Robert Clatterbuck. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company.
