Miss Sue Titchenell arrived home Saturday from Mary Washington College, Fredericksburg for the Christmas holidays.
Mrs. Gale Titchenell and Miss Sue Titchenell were overnight guests of Mrs. Harold Moran in Mannington, W. Va. Wednesday.
Bureau Meets
Ian Pryde and Sam Snead, both of Washington, attended a special meeting of the Virginia Farm Bureau in Luray on December 12 to discuss priority issues for legislation with Delegate George Blard and other representatives to the Virginia General Assembly. As part of a series of Farm Bureau sessions, similar senatorial meetings were held at locations throughout the state.
According to Snead, Farm Bureau members discussed a statewide bargaining and marketing bill. Southwest Virginia delegates have indicated that they will introduce this type of legislation into the 1979 General Assembly session but Snead said it was probably too late to work for adoption this year.
