“Both optional calling plans (Tele-Plan and Circle Calling) offer a form of discounted toll service to communities of interest,” said Larry Houck. Centel's regulatory manager. “Our usage studies indicate these plans will benefit many Washington customers."
The areas offered TelePlan and Circle Calling are determined by company studies on the frequency of calls to nearby exchanges.
Both plans are completely optional and customers who do not choose either plan will pay standard toll rates. Customers can subscribe to Tele-Plan or Circle Calling, but not both at one time.
Business customers will be charged the same rate as residential customers for Tele-Plan and Circle Calling. A one-time service order fee to cover administrative costs will be charged to subscribers to either plan.
